NTester™
NTester
is a tool to allow an individual unfamiliar with
the National Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol (NTCIP) to
test devices for NTCIP conformance. In addition, NTester functionality also
provides NTCIP-experts and manufacturers an automated way
to perform rigorous testing in a repeatable fashion. NTester 1.3 tests
for NTCIP conformance for Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Environmental Sensor
Station (ESS) and Closed Circuit Television
(CCTV) devices.
The software is available as freeware and is compatible with
Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP systems.

FTS™ for
NTCIP
(demo version)
FTS for NTCIP is a protocol analyzer jointly
developed by Frontline Test Equipment,
Inc. and
Trevilon for
monitoring and analyzing NTCIP data communication protocols
associated with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). It
operates on both serial (RS-232/422/485/530) and Ethernet networks.
Currently supported protocols include PMPP-232, PMPP-FSK,
PPP-232, and Ethernet (NTCIP Subnet Level); T2 (Null) and Internet
(UDP/IP and TCP/IP) [NTCIP Transport Level]; SNMP and STMP (NTCIP
Application Level); and Global, ASC, DMS, and ESS (NTCIP Information
Level). FTS for NTCIP also compiles any MIB to recognize new
data objects as needed.
